The Ball House

Fabulous location. Great view of the city. Quiet and reasonably comfortable. Good size bathroom with enclosed shower. Host was kind enough to let us leave our luggage outside at midday and the cleaner put it in the apartment for us.

Be aware, if you choose to stay here there are a lot of rules. A lot of furniture is vintage and has tags to tell you so. We didn’t dare use 3 of the 5 chairs due to the warning of scratching and risk of damage. The table is white and again you have to take care when using not to stain or mark it. There are restrictions on what you can cook in the apartment so we chose to eat out instead. The futon is badly positioned in front of the large window with no black-out lining, so my friend was wide awake as soon as it was light at 5am. I slept on the hanok bed, but there wasn’t much room to place it and we were afraid to move any furniture.
