I had a pleasant stay. The check-in and check-out were fast and without any issue. They give you a free drink card at your arrival, appreciated it ;)

It was cozy and interesting designed. You meet a lot of different people and nations due to shared spaces

At some places it looked a bit messy

Son emplacement, proximité de la gare et du temple. L’ambiance de l’établissement, sa décoration, la présence d’un billard qui favorise les échanges.

Le dortoir plutôt spartiate. Les parties communes et les douches non chauffées. Dur en février ! Les sanitaires pas toujours propres.

So... there's a lot The mattress wasn't clean when i arrived. Like dude literally pulled the old sheets off in front of me. The while room stank like fromuna cheese No padding on the mattress, so i basically slept on wood planks, that I could see and accidentally drop things on the person below me through those wooden planks. It was cold the whole time. The heaters could barely keep up. The common area was heated with a diesel heater.. so... carbon monoxide headache or sit and enjoy cold. There were vines growing into the common area The common area closed at like 10 pm. The showers were warm, but there was a sky light above the showers... so no privacy. Weird pictures of children posted above the toilet as if it was judging me...? The place felt like a dungeon. Especially the hidden toilet down some hallway. Nails sticking out at head and eye level everywhere. There was a hole in the ceiling above my bunk, and i honestly don't even know how that happens. As for how I personally felt: this place was rough. I didn't even leave my day clothes because of how unsanitary everything felt. This place was a rat hole. Dude saw how profitable a hostel could be and tried to make a few cheap dollars, but like... bro, you couldn't pay me to go back into that place in it's current condition.

location is great - the bar is really nice, amazing atmosphere and free pool table. the staff are accommodating, however i am reviewing the hotel after all.

pretty terrible honestly. got "family room", it was just a tiny, empty room, there was hardly space for 3 futon beds, after that we literally had basically 1m^2 for our luggage. the room had zero ventilation except a window, however it was the middle of february hence freezing outside, as 3 19 year old guys with zero space to store all our luggage, snow gear and wet towels it started to stink a quite bit. what i found most ridiculous was the fact that you had to pay to use their towels, around 200yen per day/stay (forgot) which is very cheap but just why. place is pretty banged up, however clean enough, which is fine for me however it is way too expensive for what you get (something like 5000-5500 yen per person, per night).
