We enjoyed the house. The beds were very comfortable. There were plenty of extra pillows There were 5 of us and it was nice having the extra sitting/game room. The house was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The outside could use some sprucing up but when you are sharing the space with bears I can see where that could be a challenge. Yes, I said bears! A Mama and 3 cubs. The cubs were so fun to watch from the safety of the house. One even peaked in the back door window as if he wanted to come in and try out the beds. Use of the outdoor space was limited because of the bears but it is their mountain after all so we were happy to let them have their space. Watching them learn to climb trees, romp and play together was very entertaining. Th house is close to town and easy to get to everything. The driveway is quite steep. We parked at the bottom and walked up. The stairs in the house are a bit steep as well but there are handrails on both sides for safety. The owner of the home was easily accessible through the app and responded right away when there was a need for something. We enjoyed our stay and next time we need a large home in Gatlinburg we will check back for availability.

Nice clean and roomy game room the kids really enjoyed it, the extra guess in the backyard the brown and black bear. We was excited and enjoyed their visit and had a great time.

Lots of space, some nice amenities like a game system and included streaming services. A big deck to grill out with a nice gas grill. The location is in the mountains, but it was only about 20 minutes to Dollywood, 5 minutes to a gas station, 10 minutes to anything else (including a decent grocery store). There is even a mountain coaster within 10 minutes. It is on the outskirts of Gatlinburg, so you can avoid that downtown traffic. It really is an ideal location. Just FYI, we didn't have four wheel drive (we have 2 SUVs with front wheel drive) and we had no problems. There was plenty of room to park both on a flat surface. Another would fit in the driveway, but it would be parked on a sharp incline there. That close to everything, and yet we did have a bear on our deck at one point!

I had a very disappointing experience with this property. First, the communication was inadequate. Just two days before check-in, the owner informed us that we would need a four-wheel-drive vehicle to park due to a very steep slope. By that point, we had already rented our car, and this critical information should have been made clear at the time of booking—not last minute. It caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. The house itself is old and poorly maintained. Many blinds and mosquito screens were broken, and the windows were dirty and covered in dust. The air quality inside the house was terrible. The cabin had a strong, moldy smell that immediately triggered my sensitivity to bad air and mold—I started coughing as soon as I walked in. Even with the AC running, the smell didn’t go away. It was so bad that I couldn’t sleep in the house and ended up booking a hotel just to get some rest. The second-floor bathroom smelled of urine, and the towels provided were old and worn. Only one bedroom had a proper blanket; the rest just had thin sheets, which made for an uncomfortable stay. The kitchen countertop was greasy and didn’t feel clean. Overall, this stay was far below expectations. Between the health hazards, poor cleanliness, and last-minute communication, this property is not worth the price, and I would not recommend it.

We had a great experience during our first stay in an Airbnb! The cabin was very nice—clean and cozy. It's located conveniently close to town but still feels private and peaceful. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend it!
