Nothing at all

Such a lovely place for a stopover. Everything was clean and there were thoughtful touches throughout, down to the doggie biscuits for our two beagles. The enclosed lush garden was ideal for our dogs who could stretch their legs and play after a long day cooped up in the car, without fear of them wandering off on the farm.

There isn't much in the area as far as restaurants and shops are concerned. Being a late Sunday afternoon when we arrived, we had crisps for dinner from the petrol station. Make sure you plan ahead for it. Pity the hosts don't offer a home cooked dinner option / meat for a braai.

We had everything we needed but remember to bring own food. We swam in the dam filled with water pumped 3km from Orange river which was a great novelty. Saw a pair of Secretary birds on the road in.

We didnt get to try the popcorn which is made in abundance locally.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The grass was like a carpet. It was serene and lush.
