Mare Luna Casa

It is worth the thrill of driving into the site through narrow, winding one-way streets. The view from the terrace makes up for everything! And the terrace is huge—the size of a small flat ;) Watching the sunrise from it was one of those unforgettable moments that added to my Taormina experience. The flat is spacious, providing a comfortable space for sleeping, relaxing, and living for a large group of people. Two bathrooms make it very easy to get together and go out in the morning. Keep in mind that the flat is slightly outdated, but this does not detract from its charm or functionality. It is very clean and well-maintained, and the host is overly friendly and very helpful. Note the location; it is in the upper part of town, a little way from the centre, and requires walking up and downhill – though Taormina is all up and downhill ;) For us, this was an advantage, especially because of the aforementioned view from the terrace. Finally, finding good, affordable accommodation in Taormina is quite a challenge (thanks, White Lotus), so choose Mare Luna Casa without hesitation; you will be pleased!

The apartament was clean, and comfortable with working a/c. View from the terrace was breathtaking (even with storm coming). Kitchen is well equipped. Charles, the host, explained check in in great detail and was very helpful with lots of advices. Thanks to him we had the best pizza in town.

We caught cookroach in living room on our first evening - it could have crawled from outside, and our host provided something to neutralise it, however for the rest of our stay we were woried there will be more comming. When we or guests staying in the apartments close to ours were cooking you could smell gas on the terrace. The walls are thin - you can hear everything from outside. This is not apartments fault but make sure to check the exact location of it - walk to the town might be challenging for some. The store is also not close. Parking and roads in Taormina are just crazy.

Location was fantastic. A little oasis of peace.

The appartment was very comfortable and in a very good location. The best is the amazing view of the terrace.
