Friendly neighbors who helped me connect with the host. The apartment is in a rather rough neighborhood, quite far from the city center, but equipped with the most essential appliances. It's quite clean.

The host requested from me a copy of my ID card on the day of booking and when I refused because the ID card is a confidential document and it is not safe to send it to anybody he asked me cancel my reservation, though it was not refundable and already paid in advance. I use booking.com for more than 10 years and I was never asked for a copy of my ID on booking. this is absolutely unheard since it is unsafe. When I came to the place after driving 350 km the apartment was closed and the owner once again said he would not give me code to the key box without a copy of my ID and in this way I was forced to send a photo of my ID card by MMS. He also refused to issue invoice for the payment I made. I think the person who acts this way should not be allowed to rent his apartment through booking.com
