Hof Gorei Beach Resort Davao

The location is just amazing, the white sand, the beach, the vegetation in the garden, the animals around. I'm not a big beach fun but literally loved every minute. And, very good value for the price! And yes, as many people write, there are stairs, but it is really not an issue, cmon, if you're not suffering from severe obesity, cronic illnesses or something like these, it will be fine! Yes, the bungallows are on the hillside and the beach is obviously on the coast. No issue at all!

Not a complaint, just good to know that the food is different to what you would be used to in Europe. Also, you need to take a trycycle from the ferry, and a grab to the ferry, there is no way to get there by public transport. But these don't cost too much.

Serene vibes, excellent location, clean beach, friendly and responsive staff, delicious menu, plenty of activities, up-to-date accommodations, scenic views.

No complaints on my end. Price is definitely worth the value of what you get.

I like how accommodating the staff are from our coach pickup from the ferry to our butler and other staff. the price is reasonable as well. The architecture is nice, and the views are amazing.

The beach is just okayish; it is not bad, but not the best either. Good thing there's a jumping area where we can actually enjoy the water, and the pool needs a little more cleaning. Is it quite a hike to go up and down the hill if your accommodation is up the hill (something to consider if you are not physically fit. We chose to have our accommodation moved to the beachfront for an extra fee.

Seclusive location and attentive staff.

There is honestly nothing I disliked about the property. Other reviews have mentioned the steps which I read before booking. But they formed the overall experience I was looking for. A few steps for a westerner who drives everywhere was a novel relief. Besides we got the outrigger boat to the resorts dock so avoided any steps when departing we climbed the steps but our butler was insistent on carry luggage so the steps that I have seen as the only complaints on here were a mute point and just westerners complaining.
