The location is spectacular! Especially for the money. Located a stone's throw from Fisherman's Bastian, it's easily within walking distance of all the attractions of the first district.

The heaters were set at 22C and I couldn't get it to cool off. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. The pillows were a little small.

The apartment is nice and well located, however it is not well maintained.

The flat was not clean, for example: 1. The floor was dusty. Especially the bathroom floor, it was full of hair and dirt. 2. There was a blood stain on the bed sheet. 3. The bedsheets weren’t fresh which made us wonder whether they had been changed since the previous guests. 4. The towels weren’t fresh. One of the towels had a musty smell and the green small towel in the bathroom seemed used. There weren’t any additional towels available, as stated in the apartment guide. The flat had some issues that made it uncomfortable for us to stay in, for example: 1. The pillows were very thin with no support. 2. We weren’t provided with any essentials like toilet paper, kitchen roll, bin bags. There was only 1 toilet roll available. We expected a minimum amount of basic amenities, instead we had to rush to a supermarket as soon as we arrived to get the basics. 3. The apartment was extremely hot, even with the AC on. We were struggling to sleep during the night. On the last day, we realised that the heating was automatically programmed to turn on every day. There were no instructions on how to turn it off and as stated in the guide, we shouldn’t make any changes to the thermostat. The room temperature reached 30 degrees and we were suffocating.

The location was convenient - near tram, near Metro station. Be aware that on the maps, it looks like it’s near a bridge to cross to the other side of the city, but the nearest bridge is not available for walking.

The flat was clean overall. But we noticed some details like handles in the kitchen with fingerprints, or light switchers, and dirt under the beds

I have to say it was a great choice, we loved everything about the apartment, facilities, and of course, the best location you can choose to stay in Budapest. Really enjoyed every moment of it!!!! Great communication was an additional plus to our stay.

I enjoyed the great location and experience of staying in a genuine old building, with the comforts of a modern bathroom and kitchen. I was very worried initially about how to access the key lock and how to enter, but Clear instructions on how to enter the building were sent, so we managed to figure it out.

The keys sometimes got stuck in the old locks, so on occasion we struggled a little with opening the doors. Unfortunately our luggage was delayed by 4 days, so we did not have toiletries or clothes in the heat, initially. But the washing machine worked well and it was useful to have laundry liquid. A clothes drying rack would be very useful.
