Sister’s place

Great sized room with comfortable bed and desk. Sufficient space for storage of clothes for longer stay. Clean and modern kitchen facility. Would highly recommend staying here.

The location was ideal as I was attending an event and also had to visit friends in the area. Parking was on a very quiet street outside the property.

Just a tad cold due to single glazing. Partly due to unseasonal frost.

The booking was a room in this family’s home with a shared bathroom with the family. This did not bother me, but it would not be everyone’s preference. I basically needed a safe place to sleep and this suited that.

It was a little uncomfortable being in someone’s home. I stayed in my room when I was there, except for when I needed to use the bathroom, which was shared with the family. I never really saw anyone except for the matriarch of the family who was in the living room when I arrived and when I left in the morning. She was very pleasant but spoke little English, so I couldn’t really interact with her other than to smile and say “thank you”.
