Very nice, cozy and comfortable house and extra clean also!!! Easy to access York from here.

Everything was great, only disadvantage is that there isn't anything else in the area if you want to shop or grab something to eat( except from a pub nearby we visited). At least of what we know...

Hosts were great, welcomed us then left us to enjoy our little bit of paradise whilst away! My son loved the space in the garden, exploring and walking over bridges and sitting on the bench built by Rupert and his grandad, he loved sitting there and listening to the birds and watching the apples falling from the apple tree!

The Lodge was absolutely beautiful, the decor is great, the bed was huge and comfortable which is usually the worst part of staying away for me. Even our dog was comfortable and relaxed and he's usually always on edge when we go away. He loved the nook in the kitchen. All appliances easy to use. Hosts kept to themselves but ensured we were OK and had a good stay. Location is great, not too far to the York park and ride and other towns. Couldn't recommend it enough.

The only minor bugbear we had was when the heating came on in the morning, there's a clicking sound in the bedroom that woke us up, so we had to go and turn it off each time but that was a really minor thing.

Location. Garden was fabulous. Very comfortable.

Absolutely gorgeous cottage and fantastic owners who were more than accommodating. Very nicely furnished, beds were comfy and the cottage was spotless. We will definitely be returning for another stay.
