Cocos Cabañas Playa del Carmen Adults Only

Silvia is an incredible woman, hard working and really passionate about her little jewel in playa del Carmen. I loved being able to have beach access close by and a restaurant in the place so that I could have dinner or lunch if I felt like relaxing. It was a really beautiful stay and I’m grateful for having places like these in a very touristic area of the Yucatán. It feels good to support local people and their businesses. Thank you to the whole team there, you made my stay a beautiful one.

I enjoyed my stay. It was exactly what I was hoping for - small, quiet, great vibes. The hosts and staff were very friendly and very accommodating. My room was lovely.

I do wish that they had easier beach access. While it is not terrible, you have to walk around the block and go through a small resort. There you have the option of purchasing a day pass for a lounger and food and drinks.

Quiet. Unhurried. Feels like you are in the jungle. Absolutely adorable. It’s got a fantastic restaurant The owners live there so if you need something , they are right there. Thank you Sylvia for a wonderful experience.

No direct beach access but I knew that going into it. You go next door to the Mvgnata beach club. Great deal.

Staff were terrific as was the owner. Liked the ambiance of the facilities, raccoons visiting, birds, trees. The room was comfortable. Only took in a couple of breakfasts but the supper menu was varied and the meals were very good.

Nothing that can be done about it but the location was a bit difficult. On a couple of occasions we had to walk up the street to the Ocean Riviera Paradise to meet the ride for our excursion.

It was a great place to stay our first night after landing in Cancun. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Our cabana was lovely and the food at the restaurant was delicious. We walked to the beach, then later relaxed in the hammocks on the property. A really sweet place.

The accommodation was charming and quirky, it's paired with a restaurant that also serves tasty food. The room had a safe and fridge which was appreciated.

Unfortunately, the breakfast was very basic and not accommodating to those with dairy intolerance. All we had to choose from was two slices of toast, a tiny muffin and some Papaya between the two of us. We had to opt to pay an additional £10/$12usd for scrambled eggs, as did others staying at the hotel for breakfast. Something as simple as this should really be included in the cost, if it was we would have rated the stay a step higher.

Silva is an amazing owner and host! I've been coming here for over 10 years and it's better every time!

nothing I love it all

The property is in a small tranquil setting, away from the hustle and bustle of Playa del Carmen but close enough for a short taxi journey into the main town. There is a short walk to the beach from Cocas with great facilities, sun loungers are available at a couple of the shoreline bars/restaurants for the price of a drink there. The restaurant at Cocas is fantastic with excellent food and margaritas. Sylvia and the staff all made us feel extremely welcome and added to a brilliant visit.
