Home in Ironbridge with Rear Garden

The location was good, the bedrooms had nice new carpet and were quite comfortable. Could use a full length mirror somewhere in the house. The kitchen had decent appliances.

The decoration downstairs is tired and tatty, the downstairs needs a complete overhaul, especially in the kitchen, bathroom and downstairs shower facility. Downstairs shower didn’t drain properly, the bath grout was cracked and bath panel yellowed. The kitchen had some ‘interesting wiring’ under the wall cupboards. Didn’t look at all safe, especially with the heat from the toaster in such close proximity. My accommodation was changed a quite short notice, and unfortunately not as I had expected. I was rather disappointed with the accommodation on arrival. The house gives off ‘uni student house share’ vibes, not really holiday accommodation.

A lovely spacious house with a superb location. The upstairs bedrooms are lovely and the house had everything we need.

Unfortunately the beds in the downstairs bedroom were quite uncomfortable and the blind was useless which meant we were woken by the light very early.

The accommodation is very spacious, we were a party of 6 but we didn't feel on top of each other. The location is fantastic lovely little row of shops and restaurants right outside the door. Lovely park across the road. The house was clean and tidy, and the sleeping arrangements were comfortable. Great amenities

There was only one car parking space but we had two cars The carpark over the road is chargeable but we managed to be out from 10am till 5pm and then parking is free. Some signs of lack of maintenance in the property which was disappointing as the cost to stay wasn't cheap. Some of the mugs in the cupboard were dirty. It's a shame the upstairs bathroom hasn't got a proper shower. There is a handheld shower head over the bath but no screen or shower curtain. Head height is compromised so anyone tall can't stand up

Absolutely loved the location of the property and the space. Plenty of space for 6 adults and all bedrooms very comfortable with great bedding.

Some paint may need freshening up in some areas but still extremely clean and well looked after!

Location was perfect just a short walk to the village. Very quiet location, great for relaxing. 2 parking spaces for the house. We didn't use the car until we left 4 days later. Coop just over the road was really handy. The kitchen was well equipped. We had been provided with dishwasher tablets, washing capsules and liquid. Beds were comfortable and towels were provided. Having a hairdryer was a big bonus as I forgot mine. Although the flood defences were in place as the River Severn was on the verge of flooding, you couldn't walk fown the main road, so you were diverted up and over this road to the town up there were a couple of steep hills!!, if you have mobility issues, it may have caused some problems. The park opposite the house was completely flooded, so we couldn't explore that end. Found a couple of walks over the other side of the Ironbridge, which was great for the dogs to have a run out, plenty of coffee shops, and fantastic pubs that we used frequently, avoiding the rain showers. The Ironbrige looked fabulous lit up at night and the added Christmas lights.

Accommodation was good although it looks a little tired in places, and could do with a lick of paint as in parts, the main bathroom lights are very bright. Could have done with a mat by the back door for paw prints coming in from the garden.
