Luxury three bedroom property with hot tub

The property was really lovely. A quiet, peaceful location with all the facilities we expected. A lovely homemade cake and bottle of wine was provided which was a really nice touch. The hosts were friendly and on hand if needed. The hot tub was a great addition too!

The private track to the property has lots of potholes - drive carefully especially if your car is low to the ground!

We had a lovely time at the property and the hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming. The house was beautiful, extremely comfortable and clean. It was large enough to accommodate our little group composed of 4 adults and 4 children. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were lovely. The kitchen was very large and equipped with everything we needed for some simple cooking. The hosts even welcomed us with a bottle of wine and a homemade cake which was such a lovely touch!!

Advertised occupancy of eight adults was just not realistic with the bathroom facilities available. We were 6 adults and a 3 year old. It was a struggle with the single toilet and bathroom. There really needs to be a child safety gate at the top of the very steep long stairs to a door we weren't even allowed to use. The positives though compensated . We had a good time.

The property was finished to a high standard and such a lovely space for my family and I to stay in whilst down visiting for my sister's wedding. Jim was able to provide a number for a local taxi driver, after some other companies we contacted not serving the area. Lovely homemade Victoria sponge was left waiting for us when we checked in!

Not negatives, just some extra notes for information. Acces is via some metal external stairs. The access road is narrow, bumpy and off road. Just take it easy when driving down it if you have a small/low car.

Super friendly owners and excellent location to base yourself in for the New Forest and surrounding areas. Very detailed and easy to follow directions given before arrival. Plenty of space for 8 adults and good bed arrangements. Nothing was a problem for the owners and very helpful to answer all our questions. Hot tub was a treat, shame it's not available anymore.

All was great, the only suggestion maybe to have an extra separate toilet, especially for 8 women visiting :)

lazy spa wasn’t working (although we were given some money back) but was a shame it couldn’t be used. The garden space could be bigger to allow children to play. Out of owners control, but it was hot when we arrived as windows were closed. With windows open, we could hear a dog barking in the owners garden, which kept the baby awake.

We loved how cosy and spacious it was. The big windows let in lots of light as well.

My friends did not like the drive into the house, and all said it needed the pot holes to be repaired as could have damaged their cars.
