Little House in the Redwoods with a hot tub!

The hosts Ana and Ezra are very gracious and most kind. The location is in the forest and peaceful. The drive off the highway is very doable and adds to the charm.

It was quiet, loved the trees and the wildlife. The car, Greco, was the highlight of the stay

The long drive out into the woods and the condition of the roads should have been shared prior to booking this cabin. The cabin was very basic, no outside seating, inside furniture was uncomfortable, the bed was old and too soft, and the cabin was not very clean. We ended up leaving a night early due to back issues from trying to sleep on the soft bed.

Ana was very kind and tried to be helpful but we couldn’t reach the house by car due to the terrain.

The house was quite remote and required driving over a mile on a single lane dirt road, followed by a hill that our 2 wheel drive small car could not climb. Ana had to come down in her car to drive us up, leaving our car below. We agreed this was not doable for a three day stay and we left the next day. We had to forfeit two nights of prepaid reservation. This left us having to find accommodations elsewhere at the last minute. We would not have booked this place if we’d known we needed a four wheel drive car to reach it. Please note that in your property description on line.

Ana greeted us upon arrival and showed us the hot tub. Both the bed and pullout bed were comfortable. Pillows. too. The Little House is cute and clean. Information and directions to interesting places are provided. We went to the waterfall in Redway along the Eel River about 20 minutes away by car. It was a lovely adventure.

The Little House in the Redwoods is accessed by a gated 1.5 mile gravel road. We drove it in a car. (It would have been basically stress free in an AWD.) The last hill is steep-keep your momentum! A narrow steep stairway is the only entrance to the Little House. There is a house and a cabin nearby so it isn’t completely secluded.

Very cute and clean, when it cooled off at night it was great, pretty private and peaceful

It got pretty warm and had trouble sleeping until it got later, no fan or cooling system

Amazing location small and comfortable

Not due to owners fault possibly people have smoked in residence

Very quiet and cozy, lots of stars

Enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Couple of suggestions: It would be good to let people know more than a couple of days ahead of time how far out on gravel road the property is in case they don’t have vehicle that can access that type of road. Also to let folks know about being off grid , and there is possibility of being without electricity.
