The Mango Nest

The breakfast was good. The care taker was OK, but he was unable to communicate clearly. I don't think I will return to that property again.

The swimming pool could not be used as it was not cleaned. Also the pool is not illuminated at night.

This villa was exceptional - impeccably clean, stylishly designed, and absolutely stunning. The property is even more beautiful in person, with a perfect balance of elegance and comfort. Every space was maintained to the highest standard, and you can tell the hosts take great pride in the upkeep. It was peaceful, private, and the perfect escape from busy life. Everything we needed was provided, and the experience felt seamless from start to finish. We genuinely wished we could have stayed longer! Thank you to Vijay and Mathusan for looking after us! We will definitely be coming back to stay again!

Nous avons énormément apprécié le cadre ainsi que le personnel (Vijay en particulier qui est très à l'écoute).

Villa meravigliosa, completamente ristrutturata usando intelligenza e attenzione ai particolari, materiali molto belli. Si rifa' molto allo stile marocchino. Ogni stanza da letto (molto grandi) e' dotata di bagno privato. Piscina suggestiva nel mezzo del salone. 5 camere da letto e 6 bagni. Si nota lo sforzo di investimento in termini economici per rendere questa casa cosi' bella....fare attenzione che il passare del tempo e qualche incuria non la trascurino.

Casa sensazionale ma purtroppo qualche mancanza c'e'. La mia vuole essere una critica costruttiva perche' notare certe trascuratezze in una casa cosi' bella fa male. Da quanto ci hanno detto il proprietario e' americano e la casa e' gestita da 2 ragazzi del luogo. Mi sento anche in dovere di avvertirlo dopo tutti i soldi spesi. Purtroppo dopo 15 gg in giro per lo Srilanka abbiamo capito che il loro standard di igiene e cura e' al di sotto dei nostri parametri. La cucina e' completamente da rivedere. Sportelli divelti e scarsa igiene. Odore fisso di unto e sporco tant'e' che ci abbiamo cenato solo una sera. Nelle credenze disordine e sporco, tutto un po' unto intorno. Il frigo puzzava e disordinato. Nella zona di servizio esterna presenti centinaia di bottiglie di plastica buttate per terra, solo l'ultimo giorno le hanno messe in dei sacchi. Nella terrazza all'ultimo piano ancora residui di qualche festa passata. Il mio bagno: meraviglioso ma si vedeva che il pavimento della doccia aveva bisogno di una bella sgrossata. Insomma un passaggio sulla pulizia lo rifarai.

Es ist ein traumhaftes Haus! Das Personal super nett und hilfsbereit ( man muss sich nur kurz daran gewöhnen, dass Virgei immer im Haus ist) .

Der Pool und die Küche ( auch Schränke!)müssten mal richtig gereinigt werden. Es ist sehr rutschig, besonders wenn man aus den Badezimmern auf die positionierten Fußmatten tritt. Ich stürzte dadurch.

Our stay at The Mango Nest in Jaffna was truly unforgettable, and thanks to our incredible house keeper Vijay. His hospitality went above and beyond our expectations. Vijay was a courteous and generous from the moment we arrived. He not only ensured the property was impeccably maintained, but his local knowledge was invaluable. He provided excellent recommendations that helped us explore the best of Jaffna. What we are most grateful for is his kind assistance with our toddlers. Having an extra helping hand made our trip so much more relaxing and allowed us to fully enjoy the beautiful property. The Mango Nest is a stunning villa, and Vijay's warm and welcoming nature made it feel like a home away from home. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Jaffna.
