Southsea Historic Gem - Elegant Apartments

Facilities were good , but i have a Mother with moderate mobility issues . I booked this apartment so not to encounter stairs etc . There were a few steps leading to hall way . I think a hand rail would be an advantage for people to steady themselves down the 2-3 stairs.The host did say i could bring equipment to use for my mother’s comfort and safety ( ie non slip bath/shower mat )

As above , additional wall rail along side the bath /shower . Parking off road and in street /zone but this was explained and parking permits available on our arrival . Blue badge used opposite the house whilst i unloaded the car .

Lovely property, very clean and comfortable, easy to find. Short stay in Portsmouth, great as a base

Parking outside the property was at first in short supply when we arrived, but got a space later in the day and was able to leave the car and walk.

Very modern, lots of amenities, comfy mattress, very clean, great communication from host, good location.

On street parking with a visitor permit supplied for certain streets but we struggled to find a space. The third night of our seven night stay guests arrived in the apartment directly above us . They had no consideration for others making considerable noise and having two springer spaniels running around and barking . To be fair we contacted the owner who was very apologetic and said he would speak to the guests but sadly things didn't improve.
