Il Vico

We loved the location. Situated in the very heart of the city of L'Aquila. We also found it to be very convenient to be able to access using codes and key-boxes (as we knew we were arriving late at night and it is always a plus not to be depending on someone to hand you the keys). We appreciated the coffee machine and the pods we found in our room. We were able to enjoy them on the terrace in the morning. Breakfast is then served at the cafè down the street on the very corner of Piazza Duomo. Lovely. The owner responsiveness was also a big plus. Both on Booking messaging chat and via phone. He was very helpful in giving directions and instructions. We would definitely recommend this place.

The shower arm was probably broken and would not stay up but we managed somwhow, no big issue. There was a bit too much dust under the bed. Nothing major to be honest. But for guest's further reference, we would recommend to go and park directly at the Terminal Collemaggio public parking (which is free). It is a 5-10min walk to the B&B but it will save people tons of time looking for a spot in the city center (most streets are still closed and some are not accessible at all).
