La Casa Hostel

Good location and spacious private room with a nice balcony. The family dinner was a nice way to get to know other people staying in the hostel.

Shower wasn’t separated from the toilet so the bathroom got quite wet. Only one option for breakfast which changed each day - no western options.

The host is super friendly !

The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The location is really good for walking everywhere, but still in a quiet area where you can get a good sleep.

Felt like home, very clean, meals prepared with love from the lady and the owner is very helpful

Maybe I would add hand soap in the toilets and the possibility to rent a towel

The owners provided free breakfast every morning and a family dinner three times a week. While there was no choice in the dish served, the food was amazing and I enjoyed every meal I was given. They cater to any allergies or other dietary requirements of the guests. The family dinners were a great way to get to know the other people in the hostel in a social way without the party vibes of other hostels. The staff were so welcoming and helpful and always greeted us with a smile and assisted in any way they could. The location is very central and is only a short walk to the night market and most of the central attractions

The Host was very kind and transparent, the dinner and breakfast that they made were delicious.

Not providing towels and soap and shampoo for the bathroom is pretty inconvenient for travelers. I recommend the host provides these amenities and increase pricing slightly to accommodate.

Out of the hostels control, but one of the girls in my mixed dorm room insisted on turning the AC off at night (crazy!). Got incredibly hot and stuffy, not enjoyable

Great location and friendly staff

No privacy dorm, everyone can walk into the dorm.

My favorite stay in 11 weeks of traveling! Great food, great location and absolutely amazing people.
