Apartment was so lovely and clean. Great space..great location. The couple across the way were amazing. They were so kind and friendly.

Better pillows is only thing ww would improve.

I stayed 7 nights at Vins Home. Newly furnished with cheaper, Ikea-like furniture - but very functional. Well equipped kitchen with coffee and a few teas, just needs a toaster. Otherwise, nice kitchen. Washing machine is nice, they give you a few pods, and they have clothes pins, but no line. There was a drying rack outside that was filthy - I cleaned it and used it.

Check in like it’s 1999! You have to have an appointment and meet with someone to get the keys. My problem: I was there 30 minutes early; they arrived 1.5 hours late. I sent many texts via Booking and WhatsApp: no response. I called THREE numbers I was given/found for the management company: all I got was automated hold and hung up on. I was NOT happy. I had ZERO response to all my texts and calls. Next, the gate to get into the alley broke. I was locked out for 20 minutes, but finally was able to get in. I texted, I called. The result: silence. Someone-I think one of the vendors that store stuff in the same alley - fixed it. I finally got a call from the management company two hours later. I came to the conclusion that the management company, Wonderful Italy, is dysfunctional and incapable. Worst host I’ve had in 25+ years of travel, and I’ve rented a lot of apartments. The unit is VERY DARK - no windows except frosted ones in the door and bathroom. I had a few issues with the electricity overloading and shutting off - keep your phone handy for the light. I think the oven is the cause, which I only used to toast bread. Then, after 5 days of no problems, the air conditioner/heater quit working because the lock to use it got finicky - I finally figured out the key has to be in the exact right position to get the unit to work. It is really too bad, because it is a nicely furnished apartment, but is too dark and just too many other negatives. I would NOT stay here again.
