Villa Park Sun Island Resort

Excellent organization of the holiday on a large island — everything is well thought out and convenient. The territory is spacious, well-maintained, and has good infrastructure. The food is simple but good and varied, suitable for adults, children, and vegetarians alike. Some beaches have corals and seaweed, so it’s good to know in advance where swimming is most comfortable. Snorkeling areas are perfect — the water is clear, deeper, and very beautiful there. Our son really enjoyed the kids’ club — special thanks to Gen for the kind attention. The manager Afrin assisted us throughout our stay, and all issues were handled quickly and efficiently. On the downside, all extra services and excursions are quite expensive. The hotel follows a strict financial model with a clear focus on increasing the average spend. It has its own farm and staff village, and some construction is ongoing — all of which gives the impression of a well-organized but somewhat “closed” system. The staff are polite and friendly, but the service feels rather formal — individual attention is limited. In case of a force majeure, procedures are followed strictly: our early departure was not compensated, and both Booking and the hotel referred us to each other. If you stay positive and don’t expect highly personalized attention, you can have a great vacation here. Overall, we left with good impressions despite a few minor issues.

The island is really big and beautiful. The water is clean and underwater swimming is great.

The organization is not the most efficient. When we arrived we had to wait three outs for a local flight which made us arrive at the hotel only late in the evening. Some of the staff were really friendly, some did not care at all. The extra activities were overpriced (~90$ for renting tennis racket).

We absolutely loved this island stop. Clean, comfortable and stunning beaches / sea. The new rooms are of a good standard and we stayed in a beach villa. We did ask for a quiet room but sadly had a noisy child screaming for 5 days of our holiday and then the new arrivals were noisy at night so probably not the best room for our stay. Staff in the restaurant provide the best service followed by the buggy staff who looked after us extremely well. Even the owner of the facility picked us up one day as my mother is elderly. What a lovely human :-). Food is excellent with plenty of choice and the restaurant views are stunning and will be remembered forever. some evening entertainment but nothing really out of the ordinary. Crab racing was fun and the fire show was excellent. A must see is the nighly shark feeding. Great beach bars are dotted around and the island is easy to navigate and with the free buggy's taking you wherever you need you can easily get around. A few tourist shops. Pool is right on the beach so very well placed but be warned, you won't find a sunbed! Getting to the island is fun by boat or seaplane (or both) but note the seaplane docks on a floating pontoon where you transfer to a speedboat - can be a little wobbly so if you are older be careful. Overall this is a fantastic stop so if your heading to the Maldives i would highly recommend.

Offered an upgrade, given a wrist band for the alcohol and provided with specialty evening dinner. When we went to book the dinner we were told a mistake had been made and we couldn't have the alcohol or dinner. It was like getting a Christmas present that made your heart full and your smile widen only to be told to give it back. I am not much of a drinker so wouldn't have taken too much advantage of this. Fatima who delivered this message definitely needs a lesson in good customer service and how to deal with people, not the best experience. Also something needs to be done about people saving sunbeds with towels, each time we tried to go poolside it was full of towels not people. If they changed the policy to say, use the bed or if not using vacate the bed rather than leave a towel, which also appeared from the very early morning. The pool attendants do try and help and we were thankful for that but a better policy would ensure everyone had a fair shot. Overall this didn't mar our holiday and we did love the island putting aside the earlier disappointment. I will say that after expressing my disappointment over a few days they did offer us a specialty dinner free of charge. The Thai restaurant was lovely, thank you

Fantastic water houses (floor squeaks), great service, good food, amazing dive center and snorkeling on house reef. Team flexibility to help celebrate our kid 12 birthday!

Before i booked i asked for kitesurfing and windsurfing. I received a booklet of what services are avaliable and on top that you can rent the equipment. When i arrived at water sports spot… sorry we have no instructors for kite… we cant rent you kite as our last big one is broken… ok ill go windsurfing… sorry biggest sail we have is 3.5, bigger is damaged… having such a great spot for kiting and windsurfing i wasnt expecting such bad service and lack of equipment in ***** resort. I was expecting to try new stuff maybe foiling.. So if you want to kite/windsurfing this is a bad place to go. For this money i expected more.

Вежливый и веселый персонал. Просторные и уютные номера. Уборка в номере 2-3 раза в день. Чистая территория. Каждый вечер показательно кормят акул и скатов.

Кто раньше пришел на пляж к бассейну - тот лежак и занял. Арбус в ресторане разбирали по той же схеме.
