Villa Park Sun Island Resort is accessible either by a short domestic flight and speedboat transfer or by seaplane. Guests must provide international flight details for arrival and departure at least 7 days prior to arrival to secure seats. Transfer options: 1 . Domestic Flight Transfers (Round-Trip) USD 400.00 per adult (12 years and above) before 01-Nov-2026 USD 420.00 per adult (12 years and above) on or after 01-Nov-2026 2. Shared Seaplane Transfers (Round-Trip) USD 550.00 per adult (12 years and above) before 01-Nov-2026 USD 570.00 per adult (12 years and above) on or after 01-Nov-2026 3. Private Seaplane Transfers (One-Way) 6,500.00 per way per flight (maximum 12 passengers per flight) Children (2-11 years old) will receive 50% discount on adult transfer rates (excluding Private Seaplane Transfers). Infants below the age of 2 can travel free of charge, unless a separate seat is requested. To reach the property on the same day by domestic flight, guests must arrive at Velana International Airport before 17:00 local time in Malé. Seaplane transfers are scheduled during daylight hours between 0600hrs and 1600hrs. For arrivals to the resort, seaplane transfers from Velana International Airport will be arranged for guests arriving on international flights between 0600hrs and 1530hrs. For departures from the resort, seaplane transfers to Velana International Airport can only be arranged for international flights departing after 09:00. The baggage allowance is 20 kg for checked luggage and 5 kg for hand luggage. Excess baggage will be charged by the airline at approximately USD 5 per kg plus taxes. Compulsory Festive Meals: Mandatory supplements for the Christmas Eve (24th December) and New Year's Eve (31st December) gala dinners will be charged as follows. Payment before arrival via bank transfer or payment link is required. The property will provide payment instructions after booking. • Christmas Eve (24 December): USD 260 per adult / USD 130 per child (under 12 years) • New Year’s Eve (31 December): USD 350 per adult / USD 175 per child (under 12 years) • Infants under 2 years: No charge Please note that guests are required to show a photo ID and the same credit card used to secure the reservation upon check-in. The property may contact the cardholder for verification purposes. A Green Tax of USD 12 per person, per night will be charged on all guests 2 years or older, per government regulations. Due to privacy and safety reasons, drones and unmanned aerial systems are not permitted without written authorisation from the resort. full board and all-inclusive meal options are available at the property. Guests staying during birthdays will receive a cake and a bottle of wine. Honeymoon guests (within 12 months of marriage) receive a bottle of sparkling wine and a fruit basket. Wedding anniversary guests receive a bottle of wine and a cake. A valid marriage certificate must be presented upon check-in to receive honeymoon or anniversary benefits. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
