Simon the server was wonderful

The friendly and helpful staff and hotel and grounds cleanliness made for an excellent vacation stay. I liked that this hotel was the old style three story Mexican architecture style. The grounds were well kept and had lots of cacti. The entertainment from Mariachi, to duo singers , Mexican group , to kareoke made for fun evenings. The other guests were friendly as well. It attracts people who return, year after year. The beach was clean . There were pool exercises. The morning breakfast buffet was delicious and had lots of variety. You are within walking distance to some good restaurants. One note, If you enjoy swimming in the ocean they do not encourage swimming at this location. Therefore you have to travel to Medano Beach if you want to swim in the ocean as there are rip tides by this hotel.

Great service from all staff, especially Enrico. Would recommend for families. Came with a 15 month old, very family friendly.

We wanted to be close to the beach and shopping. Hotel Posada Real is on the beach which is what we wanted. The local market/shopping is about a 10-15 minute walk. The hotel itself is not luxurious but the rooms and restrooms were nice and clean, and it’s in a great location. We didn’t experience any disturbances throughout our trip. We honestly relaxed! They have a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner for those who don’t want to wander out. The menu changes every day and offers several dishes to choose from. Prices are reasonable and the food is decent. There are also several restaurants at a walking distance to satisfy your taste buds if the buffet isn’t or doesn’t offer what you’re in the mood for. The servers, waiters and staff are very friendly. Shout out to Selerino, Luis & Javier! They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I would also say this is a family friendly hotel. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back soon.

Great value for hotel on the beach.

Building dated but still has character.

Enrique and Oliver did an amazing job their service was fantastic and they were friendly. I am looking forward to coming back to such great place.

Fernando, Enrique and Luis were excellent staff. Very polite and attentive. The rest of the staff were excellent as well. Great budget resort. Beach was amazing and the resort is only a 20-25 min walk to San Jose city centre.

The hotel overall was OK, however my regular server: Luis, was very good! So attentive and kind. He made sure I was never without a drink in my hand! This place may be subpar, but the servers are EXCEPTIONAL. Gracias Luis!

Excellent breakfast....lots of variety. Staff kind, helpful, and courteous. Great location for getting downtown and to restaurants. Pool clean and large size. Rooms clean and comfortable.

Excellent location, free parking, quaint/classic style, staff helpful.

Accommodation is dated, other tenants are loud, price was steep for quality.
