"Good stay and Oudewerf Fly Fishing on Vaal"

Beautiful and quite surrounding. Host friendly. House clean and well equipped.

15 km gravel road. We stayed for 7 days and the unit was not serviced. We also did not know that the unit runs of solar only - although we fortunately had sunshine whilst we were there but it would have influenced my decision. Would be good if the burglar gates could have locked then we did not need to keep the sliding doors closed whilst we were in the house (for the monkeys). Aircon would be great.

Pleasant stay, facilities where very neat and clean.

The bugs, flys and spiders where a little disconcerting, but nothing bug spray can't fix.

"Perfect weekend away"

Lovely peaceful setting. Hosts gave us fresh farm eggs. Well stocked kitchen. Beautiful river view. Lots of cute animals!

A true getaway from civilisation while enjoying all the comforts of a well equipped house. The location and views next to the Vaal are stunning, and the farmyard ambience is enjoyable.

The fishing area could be made more usable. However, the river was in flood, so maybe it was underwater!

"Relaxing.beautiful stay"

The location. The view of the river was stunning. The attention to small details. Like pods for the nespresso machine. Spices. Milk. Tea and coffee. Hand crafted bath soap. Every convenience I could think of.

There was nothing I didn’t like.
