Not a bad location

House very cold no way to turn on heating due to no control. Owner must be able to set it .

In the right location, nicely decorated and had all the amenities needed.

Fridge was full of gone off food from last occupants we had to clean it, the bin wasnt fresh and was half used, stale food left in the bedroom draws and coffee tables in living room, small bedroom window was filled with black mould and no curtain and alot of thick scrum around bath taps, also had to go hunting for bedroom tv remote

Local shop is next door and open until late.

The property felt pretty spacious, though the kitchen can feel a little cramped when all sat around the table. The rooms were comfortable. We stayed here as it was close to the wedding venue so that was really handy.

The listing implied the kitchen was fully equipped however we were unable to find any baking trays which seem a simple kitchen accessory for cooking. We had to make makeshift foil trays which weren’t great. The fridge and freezer weren’t the cleanest. Milk had been left in the fridge (still in date) but had been opened, so we didn’t feel comfortable using this.

Location was good and plenty of parking in the street. The beds were very comfortable. The owner was very obliging and responded quickly to our request for coat hangers, tea towels and a frying pan.

The heating was a mystery to use. It would be helpful to have instructions available. Likewise for the washing machine.

No hand soap in bathroom and hard to find teatowels. Could do with more organising of kitchen.

Good location, easy access to public transport and motorways. 1 shop right next door and another shop just a couple of minutes walk away.
