Pieds Dans L’Eau Holiday Apartments

A very large apartment, with little cosy atmosphere for a couple. The hotel looks a bit dated and was almost empty, which can also be due to the season. A fenced garden under palm trees is only available to the guests of the house. A gate leads to the adjoining, narrow but well-kept sandy beach. In the monsoon month of July, the large amount of seaweed has to be removed every day. Despite some waves, you can always swim safe in the lagoon. We really enjoyed the two kayaks wich were provided for free to the guests and used them to explore some more hidden beaches. There are some shops and markets nearby. Remarkable is a fish market two houses down.

Some issues with the gas stove as well with the water pressure. Floors were not properly cleaned. Lots of seaweed on the beach, considerable currents. Booked sea view and got half sea view, just from the corner of the balcony. The attached restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel was closed.

Well located, many business around. And more if are a good discoverer

it was not clean, the place has potential but it screams for renovation. the bed and towels were clean and good quality but the shower and the floors needed a deep cleaning

Nice large apartment directly at the beach. Supermarkets, other shops and bank nearby. Busstop to take you all over the place just 200m away. The beach and gentle waves of the ocean make the stay there unforgettable. Would love to come back any time.

Fabulous stay! The view is to die for! You can hear the waves day and night which we absolutely loved! We visited Seychelles in November 2022 for our honeymoon. We stayed in the Aldabra appartment which is on the ground floor with access directly to the beach. You can exit from the living room or from the bedroom on the wooden deck then straight on the sand, exactly how we wanted. The property has a lovely garden with palm trees and beautiful flowers, after that you are straight on the beach. The flat is huge and we loved the big windows. Air con is fitted in the bedroom. Sanath, the host, is very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Veronica, the lady in reception, is wonderful! Thanks to her, we spent a beautiful day with an amazing local guide, very knowledgeable and so friendly. The property has 2 kayaks. Life vest is also available. Position is stunning. For us, Anse Royale was the best beach in Mahe. Ask about the snorkeling spot, which is about 10 min walk from the appartment. If you want to experience creole food, ask about the local take away, which is just across the street from the property; absolutely delicious food and really affordable. You get an incredible view at sunrise! We loved this place so much! Cannot wait to come back!
