Beau Vallon Studios - Apartments Vacation Rentals

This is a SCAM.. the owner has 2 hotels. She keeps the one with the beach view open.. we pay for the higher room charges for beach view and kitchen.. When you arrive they will say the room with a beach view and a kitchen is not available.. they will block your credit card amount and your money. But she will offer the other hotel with no beach view for a higher price compared to the closer properties. We had confirmed our arrival previously to flying.. yet they informed no rooms were not available as per our booking.. the owner didn't even bother to respond to our messages. Informed her staff not to let us in without cash payment. No taxis available to go to other hotels . there was no WiFi. We had to sit in the corridor and make other arrangements.. while there there where 2 other couples who were denied room they had booked.. yet our rooms were showing available on booking .com. ..Attached room photo we got when we booked beach view. After all the drama we asked if we can keep our luggage overnight when we went to other islands.. she said ok only if we gave a good review..ITS A SCAM.. RATHER BOOK A GUARANTEED ROOM ELSEWHERE THAN FIGHT WITH THIS CON ARTIST

On the plus side, the apartment itself was quite comfortable, and the cleaning service was excellent—the maid was very kind. However, we struggled to sleep due to the loud noises from a large group of hens, dogs, and roosters that started making a racket at 5 AM every night. Additionally, the fan was broken, and we only had hot water in the shower. Overall, I cannot recommend this place based on our experience

I recently stayed at Beau Vallon Studios and unfortunately had a very frustrating experience. Communication with the owner, Amanda, was limited to phone and WhatsApp, and she insisted on cash payments only. Despite guaranteeing our reservation through Booking.com with a credit card, we were repeatedly told the card machine was "somewhere else." This forced us to withdraw cash from an ATM, incurring additional fees and ultimately costing us an extra €30. Is this even legal? Be prepared for unexpected costs due to this cash-only policy.
