1Bed Golfhill Cottage

We booked a one night stay at the property to attend a function in Dunblane. The day before the reservation date we received a confirmation message from the host advising that the entry details would be notified next day. On the morning of the stay we received a text message from the host notifying us that she had double booked the property and offered either an alternative property in Stirling or a full refund. On receipt of the message (9.30am) we contacted the host by telephone and said that the alternative property was not an option as it was too far away from Dunblane to be a practical alternative. We asked if the other booking could be offered the alternative. The host was not happy and so we asked for a full refund and provided bank account details. We were fortunate to find alternative at short notice but had to pay an additional fee. It is now five days since we provided the bank details for a full refund and we have still not received the money into the account. We would not recommend the property or the host and advise that any payment is withheld until check in.

Location was excellent, the cottage was beautifully presented and very clean. The host was great in their correspondence and it was very easy to organise getting the keys. I would stay again if I was in Dunblane.
