The Stage Door

The property offered “ free public parking is possible onsite” On arrival, the property is set inside a small development of flats and houses served by short narrow roads. The residents all have marked spaces which we were told not to use. The road only had about 3 or 4 other spaces, all taken. Two other cars were parked half on the road half on the pavement. The host had said we could use a small grassed area near the road. But it meant reversing my car up over a medium height curb, and I didn’t want to risk the underside of my car, and I bet the residents wouldn’t be too amused by tyre ruts over the grassy bit. I called the host, got no reply, so after 20 minutes we left and had an excellent night with easy secure parking at the IBIS Styles north of Heathrow! Didn't stop in the accommodation so can’t comment on it. Afterwards found other reviews with parking issues. Must read them all in future! Great pity cos well positioned for airport.

Location worked well for us as it was within walking distance of Hilton Heathrow where we we went to an event. The host communicated well and sent photos of the outside of the apartment and instructions of how to access the property which were useful. The property was clean and well equipped and the host left extra bedding as requested. We appreciated the late checkout at 11am gave us enough time in the morning. Overall a great stay.

This is a very minor point - the TV was mounted too high on the wall, so was difficult to watch from sofa.

The bed and sofa weren’t comfortable. And the noise from the planes hindered our sleep

Great accomodation and location! It was exactly what I needed. The host was also so accommodating in allowing me to check in earlier, it was greatly appreciated. Highly recommended !

This was a lovely little apartment with everything we needed for our nights stay.

The apartment was exceptionally good. Great location. Super clean. So many extras which were a lovely bonus. Modern. the chairs were comfy. Bedding furnishings were abundant. Lots of extra pillows to try for maximum comfort.

Bed was exceptionally hard - for my body. Sofa bed was also pretty hard. A mattress topper would be a great addition. Have messaged the host about this.
