Great room and bathroom, all very comfortable and well equipped. In a beautiful location very convenient for the South Downs and many other local attractions. Ann was very easy to communicate with and in fact kindly looked after our car for us for a week whilst we walked the South Downs Way. I highly recommend The Old Smithy and a visit to this beautiful area.

Fabulous full English breakfast , Ann & Martin were perfect hosts very friendly and helpful, a plus for us was the dog and cat , comfortable bed, good shower, quiet and peaceful rural setting

A signpost at the road entrance , at present it looks like a farm track on a sharp road corner easy to miss the turning at night. Guests with mobility problems may find the steep steps down to the bathroom challenging .

A wonderful place to stay in a lovely, peaceful country setting. Super cosy accommodation and wonderful hosts …. And the best full English breakfast we’ve ever had in a lovely timber beamed room. A massive thank you to Ann and Martin

a very relaxed friendly stay in a beautiful location. The owners gave us a warm welcome and looked after us. Breakfast was delicious and cooked while we waited.
