Although I didn't meet the hosts, they reached out before our arrival and made sure we had everything we needed for the kids. Once we arrived, they got in touch again to be sure we had settled in ok and check if we were happy with the temperature.

The bedrooms where cold

Beautiful property, amazing host and Davie the dog was as sweet as can be. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Nothing! It was wonderful!

It is first worth noting that the booking.com property page states this accommodation has 2 bedrooms with a double bed in each, along with 2 sofa beds in the living room. This is incorrect. There is one double bed, 1 room with 2 single beds, and no sofa beds. This was a slight hiccup as we had a foster child who needed to sleep separately. Property details state no extra beds can be made available so we didn't ask for one and worked around the issue. The big issue we had was that we were all woken at approximately 1am, 1st by the dog downstairs barking, but I then heard voices outside the property. I got dressed and made my way outside to find 1 girl running across the garden to a barn or outbuilding (within the same grounds as our accommodation) then 2 other ladies, who could barely stand, one carrying a drink. Then 2 gentlemen arrived in a car, parked up, and they proceeded across the garden while shouting and hollering to the same outbuilding, from which we could also hear loud music playing. This continued to keep us up until roughly 3.30am. Its very clear on the property conditions that no parties are allowed. Obviously that doesn't include the barn/outbuilding in the same garden! Which is completely unacceptable for those of us who were paying guests looking for a quiet night before leaving Ireland! We left early the following morning so did not speak to the hosts with our grievances. I raised these issues with Booking.com on my return to the UK and contacted Toni at the property also. To be told they "can't help it if there is noise outside" and if I am looking for free accommodation its "not happening"! Quite a disgusting attitude frankly, as its not about the money. Its about the fact we were woken in the night, in what is advertised as a peaceful quiet place, by some form of party/gathering in the same grounds as our accommodation, so yes, You could have absolutely controlled what was going on during the night!!

The apartment was spotlessly clean and the bedrooms and bathrooms were first rate. Easy to get in and nice and quiet! Would recommend highly.
