Historic Cozy Haven in Little Italy

It was a nice, clean, and quiet apartment. It was within walking distance of the heart of Italy, where I had both a great supper and a wonderful breakfast pastry. The parking was free. I would gladly stay there again and I probably will check whenever I have to go in Cleveland to see if the unit is available.

I was a little confused on where to actually park my car since the communication indicated to park in then parking lot, but it wasn’t clear out of all the spaces that would be available a specific area.

-Location was close to hospital. -The unit above us was quiet. A

-The wi-fi wasn’t working, and the owner didn’t respond to our messages. -A radiator in the bathroom across from the toilet was very dirty. -I booked the hotel but tried to cancel about 15 minutes later when I realized there was only a full-size bed. The staff/owner didn’t even consider our request. -Outside steps weren’t stable.

We booked approximately 3 hours before arrival. The communication was horrible and after over an hour trying to figure out the correct address and access of the property it smelled like someone left the gas on inside the entire house. We could not stay due to safety and health concerns. Finally was able to contact the property owner, explained our situation and requested a cancellation/refund. The owner immediately became defensive and refused any resolution. Told me he had to pay for cleaning services to accommodate our stay and certain odors and conditions were to be expected in an older property. That's simply ridiculous as I owned a home built in 1839 and a cottage from the early 1900's and the only time properties smell like natural gas is when there is a leak. I'm still waiting for resolution through Booking.com. This is bad business and extremely disappointed that Booking.com doesn't regulate the quality of their offerings. The location was in a pretty unwelcoming part of town especially for seniors.

near Cleveland museum of art which is a must. very good price aand value. Worth it if driving. As a couple staying only 1-3 nights focused on seeing the city this is perfect.

a little hard to find but overall everything went smoothly. if you are hoping to be downtown and walking distance this is likely not a good choice as it's a bit east, but the neighborhood was great and safe!

The hosts Shavit and Dakota were super responsive and friendly. We had one small issue with the TV remote. But they both worked diligently and solved the problem. Also, the location is great for a short walk to all the wonderful restaurants in Little Italy. It’s a neighborhood with lots of college students. I felt safe among friendly people.

It’s a very small apartment in an old house in an old city neighborhood. Also due to this being an old house, the pay washer and dryer were in the basement that had to be entered from outside. But for the good price, I didn’t expect anything bigger or ultra modern. I was there recovering from surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, so I didn’t need anything lavish and was quite comfortable.

Nothing about the apartment was clean and it had a real bad odor.

That ur wasn’t clean and the odor in the house was a bad strong cat piss and cigarette smell.
