Central luxurious Apartment with sea view!

Parfaitement situé - notez que beaucoup d’établissements mettent des photos de plages alors qu’ils ne sont pas sur la plage - ce n’est pas le cas de Christos, car on a véritablement une vue en plongée vers le bord de l’eau.

Le mobilier et la décoration sont un peu vieillot mais c’est fonctionnel.

The most authentic and caring place we’ve stayed at. You could easily throw a party for 50 people in the kitchen — it’s spacious, welcoming, and made for gathering people together. The owner is incredibly helpful, and from the moment you arrive, you genuinely feel at home. The only very minor thing to mention is that if you’re extremely sensitive to traffic noise, it’s worth noting that the place is next to a busy road. If you want to stay close to old town, this is the best place. We did not hear English until walking to Old town. But honestly, the apartment has everything you need, the atmosphere is wonderful, and being surrounded by local Greek people makes the experience feel even more special and authentic. I already can’t wait to come back in a couple of months. I truly couldn’t recommend this place more highly — it’s fantastic.

Some traffic noice but it is ecpectected so close to/in the City. The noice is made by being at the beach. I could move here.

We cooked a lot for ourselves and the location was very convenient to food stores, restaurants with patios, a hair salon, and pharmacies. It was well located in respect to getting to/from the airport by rented car, and also near a major street running through Chania. It was also within 15 minutes walk of the archeological museum and the old city with all its areas of interest. A beach is within 5 minutes walk. On sunny days, hot water was plentiful for showers, but not so much on overcast days (we were there for the month of March when it was 14-17 degrees most days). Those days required the use of the electric water heater which worked very well. Our total electrical bill for the month of March was approximately 75 Euros, pretty much as expected based on our own usage at home in Canada.

The apartment was near a major intersection, so convenience of location also meant some traffic noise at night. This was OK most of the time but motor cycles especially were troublesome. Parking was a challenge, but most days we had a spot on the street within 50 metres of the front door - note our car was a very small 4-door Toyota hatchback suited for some of the narrow streets in Chania.

The location was excellent. You have directly view of the sea. The balcony is oriented towards west, so sunshine in the afternoon. Kitchen was very well equipped, so no problems there either.

There was nothing not to like, I am the kind of person who takes things as they are and makes the best of it. It must be really inconvenient in order to complain. So, nothing was inconvenient, everything played out as expected, I don't know why someone would complain.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich durch den Gastgeber empfangen - Maria ist ein wahrer Engel 😇. Die Wohnung hat einen herrlichen Blick auf die Altstadt von Chania und natürlich auf das Mittelmeer. Alles sehr gemütlich und hochwertig eingerichtet. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Host was very good apartment had everything we needed very nice stay.

The location is amazing. 2min walk to the one of the most beautiful beaches. The host, Mr. Christos is a very kind person. We were 5, 2 adults, three kids, the apartment is very comfortable, with a beautiful view. The old town chania was 10min walk. We are going to go back to that place next year.
