The service is very lacking and even quite disrespectful to people of non European looking.

The whole vibe was so welcoming and positive. Loved the breakfast options, and the location is the cherry on top. Overall, one of my best stay experiences with such great hospitality, cleanliness, food, and so much more. Would recommend 10/10.

On our first morning, we enjoyed the lovely atmosphere of a traditional flute being played. It added so much charm to the hotel's appearance, which is already very intimate and peaceful. There is a constant effort to play on the theme of 'manuscript' & 'writing'. Our room presented very nicely, with decor, great light, and a lovely bathroom. The dining room provided breakfasts that were quite nice. For dinner, it elevates to a more sophisticated rooftop space, and the menu has something for everyone.

The breakfast choices could be a bit broader, with food refreshed a little more quickly when busy. The address has limited access by car, so Tuktuks are needed at busy times.

What a haven of serenity amidst the madness of the Old City. We lived everything about Manuscript and the food was among the best we had in the area. Loved the creativity in the menu. The rooms were very comfortable. And the staff was amazing! Definitely a great spot to retreat to when in Udaipur old city.

Wonderful hotel. The place is stunning. Rooms are beautifully designed and the staff are so lovely and helpful. Breakfast is really good. We also had dinner there and the food is a cut above in a beautiful rooftop looking at the palace.

The most beautiful hotel in India we were staying. Everyhing that you need, comfortable bed, nice and clean room, the details in the room, the rooftop restaurant is amazing!

The same staff were working here when I stayed at the hotel a year after my first stay. It was lovely to see them again! Breakfast is always delicious. There are ample places to enjoy a quiet spot with gorgeous city views from their rooftop or inner courtyard. The beds are large and comfy. And it's super walkable to the sites and shops near the lake.

Location was perfect for sightseeing, room was comfortable and food was tasty with an amazing view.

Some of the facilities were slightly lacking - eg small pool with few deck chairs and could have had more comfortable reading chairs.
