Dar marco polo

The bed was very large and comfortable and the room was quite spacious. Adman was very kind and his family were also very sweet. We stayed for dinner and while it was a bit higher than the prices we have experienced elsewhere here in Morocco it was very delicious and of high home made quality.

The room was very warm. I would suggest a small portable electric fan for the hot nights in the summer season.

Cleaning, very good service.

I got ripped off like a typical tourist. Always ask about prices before accepting anything besides the room, and don’t book any activities through the owner—you’ll be overcharged.

Excellent host. He gave us a short tour in Erfoud an showed us a few interesting and informative places. The food in his restaurant (cooled by his wife) was exceptional. The rooms, lobby and restaurant and are equipped with great utensils with attention and love to detail. We would absolutely recommend the „dar marco polo“ to other travellers. If we come back to this region we know where we are staying.

Very nice decoration and style. The owner is very friendly and provides a lot of information. He helped us organize a tour through the desert for 60€pp which we really enjoyed.

We perceived the cost for dinner as too high (20€ pp).

Everything was prefect. Thank’s to Atman and his wife. We had a wonderful time.

The owner looked after us like royalty. Their home cooked food was authentic and delicious. We were given a gift of the most delicious dates we ever tasted. Great experience.

This is a wonderful place when you are in the area. We arrived late in the night after a long drive and still a great dinner was possible. The rooms are so detailed with a modern touch but still traditional and located in an old Kasbah. I can recommend it 💯.

The authentic design of Dar Marco Polo matched totally our expectations. The place represents beautiful the Berber culture. Our host was very friendly and made a wonderful Berber dinner for us. A must place to stay in Erfoud!
