Loft In Master Palace

I liked Silvio's friendly and helpful introduction to the property and Catania; the information on tours (which we took with the wonderful Lemon tours); the lift to the 3rd floor to reach the property. The location was great for the train station; bus station; supermarket; restaurants; and the short walk to the city centre. It is in the residential area of the working part of the city - not upmarket but we felt perfectly safe. The apartment was very clean. The lift was a lifesaver after my friend fractured her ankle walking in a nearby town.

Only tiny things could have been better - a bedside light which needed a lightbulb; 2 sliding rooflights which needed batteries (we noticed one of these while Silvio showed us the apartment and he brought batteries for us the next day); instructions/"signs" on how to work the various taps and showers (they look beautiful but it took us a while to work out how to use them) and the coffee machine (I failed at that one).

We loved loved the beds, amazingly comfortable. Everything was well appointed, it’s a beautiful apartment just fabulous. Had smart tv with Netflix, air conditioning and a lovely terrace to sit out on. It was so nice to return to after our outings. Loved the location just down the street from the daily market also close to the bus station and railway station. I was a little perturbed by one of the reviews previously saying there were undesireable people in the area. This is not the case obviously there are market people but we felt very safe and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

The terrace is beautiful but you have to be careful of the stairs to it as there is no guard rail.

We loved the beds!! We had the best sleep ever compared to all the other places we’ve been in Sicily and other trips. The space was so big and comfortable, and the location was good, so close to nice restaurants

Silveo was there as soon as we were there! Very nice , always there if we need him!

Area

Walking distance from center. There is dishwasher and washing machine. Cleaner did ecelent job. Host was responsive on any questions. Arrange us transefer car for AtnaLand
