The hosts are very nice people who go out of their way to make your/our stay very enjoyable.

It is well tucked away that tends to confuse bus drivers and taxi drivers of its location.

KC & Robert sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber! The Mill House ist eine Oase wo man nach einem Ausflug auf der Isle of Man gerne zurückkehrt. Es ist innen und aussen alles sehr gepflegt! Es ist auch sehr liebevoll eingerichtet mit ausgewählten antiquierten Schmuckstücken. Die gelegentlichen Gespräche mit KC & Robert waren toll und informativ. Das Frühstück war ausserordentlich! Mit besten Früchten (wir werden die Kirschen nie vergessen), selbstgemachtem Joghurt und, und, und… The Mill House ist ein Geheimtip! Absolutely fantastic stay at The Mill House, Stanton! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such genuine warmth and kindness by the wonderful hosts, KC and Robert. Their hospitality is truly second to none – thoughtful, generous, and full of heart. The house itself is stunning, full of charm and comfort, but it’s KC and Robert who make it unforgettable. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, offering helpful tips, sharing stories, and creating a relaxed, nurturing atmosphere throughout our stay. You don’t just stay at The Mill House – you’re looked after like family. Can’t wait to return!

What an amazing place to stay at. Managed to book one of the rooms for the TT practice week. Robert & KC made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be staying here again.

Robert and KC are wonderful hosts who made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They made us feel completely comfortable and were very respectful of our space. We’d see them at just the right times – they never hovered or intruded, but always seemed to appear exactly when needed. We’d wake up to a lovely fresh breakfast, and when we returned later in the day, everything was clean and tidy – such a treat! The house is beautifully and tastefully decorated, with everything you could need for a comfortable family stay. There’s plenty of space for our two kids to run around, both inside and out. They especially loved the big trampoline and the lush green outdoor area – perfect for playing and exploring. The whole experience felt like visiting a warm, welcoming parents’ or grandparents’ home. On our last day, we were surprised with a delicious hot breakfast – a thoughtful touch that was very well received. Everything in the house was neat, clean, and well-equipped, making our stay easy and enjoyable. The location is about 8 km from Douglas, with a bus stop just 500 m away. It’s a bit of an uphill walk (about 300 m), but our young kids managed it without any trouble. We were able to catch direct buses to Port Erin and Douglas, and for Peel, it was an easy transfer in Douglas. The location worked well for us, though if you’re arriving with heavy luggage, we’d recommend a taxi to and from to the airport or Douglas – it’s affordable and saves the uphill walk. Our family didn’t want to leave – we truly felt at home. We will definitely return if we ever come back to the Isle of Man. Thank you, Robert and KC, for making our stay so special!
