Ty Carreg Bach

A blissfully quiet stay with a beautiful view toward Snowdonia. Perfectly formed accommodation that's very well equipped for a couple. Feels remote in the best possible way, but you're only 10 mins from amenities in Llanrwst or Betws-y-Coed. Very clean and thoughtfully furnished. Hosts are super kind and responsive. There's loads to see in North Wales, but be sure to plan some time to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere at the barn. Plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the views!

The only thing to be aware of is the single-track lane for the final half mile. It might be a bit tricky the first time, but it's fine once you know what to expect, and well worth the effort. In our four-day stay, we only encountered a couple vehicles, and they were very accommodating.

The area was amazing,.nice views and nice accommodation. Friendly hosts.

Everything was ok can't fault the accommodation(more basic kitchen items available- eg kitchen roll for guests maybe ),, also be careful on the road as it's a country road.

We stayed at Ty Carreg Bach when attending a wedding at nearby Hafod Farm, just a mile or so down the road, so it was a perfect location for us. We stayed a few more days after the wedding and enjoyed this peaceful location, tucked away up on the hillside, yet still not far from lots of beautiful walks and sites. The cottage is very well equipped and the owner provided lots of little extras that were really handy. The cottage was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There were some lovely outdoor seating areas which have beautiful views, but the cool autumn weather meant we didn't get chance to enjoy them.

The owner has preset the underfloor heating and we had to contact them to have it turned up or down. I understand why owners might choose to do this, but I would prefer to have control myself.

Excellent location for visiting the Snowdonia National Park and North Wales . Everywhere within an hour driving distance. Beautiful views. Well equipped for self catering for 2.
