The Granary- Hopewell

Just a beautiful place, so peaceful. Lovely rooms, comfy bed..much more than I even expected

Location was perfect to where we needed to be. Nice seeing the Alpaca’s outside ☺️ Very peaceful and quiet. Hot tub was lovely.

Decor is stunning. Really warm and cosy. Very quiet surroundings. The hot tub was the best we have experienced using it for over an hour all of the three nights we stayed. The facilities were spot on and it was exactly what I wanted for a quiet break. Would definitely go back and are not interested about the further ones - these were not obvious to find online so we did some research when we got there. May take the family too.

Not sure there was! Possibly a couple extra towels but that was not the end of the world.

Huge space. Longer stays will be better to make the most of it. The facilities were excellent and parking was very easy. The fire was easy to use. The bed was extremely comfortable. The alpacas on the farm are a unique feature.

The flat was quite dirty. The bathroom makes a very strange drilling noise whenever water is running. The drains had an off smell. The hot tub was a lot of effort to get going.

The barn is absolutely gorgeous. The stone and wood combo is stunning. The bed is quite literally the MOST comfortable bed I have EVER slept in. My feet enjoyed the underfloor heating in the bathroom. The living room,whilstbeing a big room was really cosy though never did work out his to use the funky floor lamps. Overall we absolutely loved this place. We had a chat with the owner who seemed a lovely fella and have already looked at staying for my birthday in December and valentine's day..... Both booked already😔😔 but testiment to what an awesome place this is

We had trouble with the hot tub so didn't get the full benefit of that which was very disappointing..... contacted the agency but wasn't overly impressed with the response. It would be nice to have the option of the hot tub being lit in advance for you. For instance, we were going out for a meal the first night so by the time we got home it wasn't worth lighting the fire to wait a couple of hours to heat up as it would have been so late..... Same goes for the next day. We went out for the afternoon so by the time we got home it was 5ish, we lit the fire but then felt house bound cos of the fire so going to get food was a challenge and then had issues with the water heating.... It said it takes 2 hours but after 4 hours and all the wood supplied gone we had 20 minutes worth and then it was getting late again. To have it lit and heated ready for when we got home would have given us the option to be in and out the tub all evening which is my idea of a blissful evening but hey ho

Very quiet location. Lovely bed Hot tub was great

There was quite allot of dust on fixtures and fittings. Only 1 towel each for duration for shower and hot tub.

Really good use of the space. Everything is clean and solid. Extremely cosy. Loved the DVD selection, great touch.

Saniflow is a bit annoying going on and off while showering but really nitpicking there.
