Convenient location. Luckily the restaurant was good and breakfast was ok. Although one bagged croissant exploded as it was well past its sell-by date…

Our ‘garden view’ was onto a wooden fence ! The bedroom was a converted shed full of cobwebs. Not value for money.

Warning - this property was cheaper booking directly through the pub themself - in fact £15 cheaper! . I followed the instructions from booking.com about their price promise and no response. Will not be booking through booking.com again, beware

same breakfast every day can have some variety

The room/apartment was well above what we were expecting, very well laid out with everything we required. The pub downstairs was very lively but we didn't notice any noise upstairs, and the food was lovely.

We were in Buckingham room. All very clean and tidy. The room has all the comforts of home: good shower with all toiletries. Nice big towels. Fresh bedding. Fridge, kettle, microwave and toaster and plenty of continental breakfast supplies. Comfortable sitting room. All very nice.

Being up over the pub Buckingham room was rather hot. There was a fan but a second one would have been good. It was quiet the night we were there but could be noisy if it was a busy night so remember when booking, it’s a pub !!!
