La Nina

La Nina is a beautiful apartment near the heart of Taormina with everything you need for your stay. It has beautiful views from the main bedroom of Casa Cuseni and towards Castlemola. The kitchen is really well equipped with a large fridge freezer and gas hob. Decent size and quantity of plates, bowls, cups, mugs and glasses. Inside and outside are dining tables and an absolutely gorgeous little patio with the cutest sink (I want one)! The patio has an awning which is great when the sun is hot. Taormina clings to the hillside so whilst it is downhill to the corso, with shops and restaurants, it is uphill back to the apartment. At the Porto catania at the end of the corso is a taxi rank and we did make use of that some times. The beds are super comfy - large double and two singles, and on the firmer end, and the aircon is blessedly ferocious! All windows have mosquito nets built in which is great. Our host was wonderful, she was super helpful and kind, with coffee, snacks and cold water waiting for us. We communicated very well over booking and WhatsApp, and of course Google translate always helps. Books and information in the apartment help you make the most of Taormina. Some mornings - not every morning - grocery sellers in vans stop near the apartment selling dish, vegetables and bread. There is also a washing machine and clothesline.

Nothing. It was all fantastic.

The apartment was beautiful, close to town and our host Rita was magnificent. She collected us from the bus and drove us back when we left. Amazing and highly recommended.

Nina and her husband are really friendly and helpful. The apartment is quite clean, organized, and smells nice. They prepared more supplement than we need, even offer some drinks and snacks for guests.

It is too bad it is not big enough for more people to stay together, we travel with three families.

Cleanliness and the size of the rooms. Our hosts were very helpful and met us on arrival. The flat is conveniently located close to the centre of Taormina.

The small shower, nowhere to park a car and having to use the very expensive Porta Catania car park.

A really warm welcome. We loved the flat near to town and close to the hiking areas. Very comfortable and we would really recommend it as a place to stay. Thanks for the breakfast things and chocolate and wine. They pay a lot of attention to small details. Washing machine for laundry too.

Driving around Taormina is not easy. Good parking that is cheap off season and very expensive at other times.

love love the place . the host was amazing and exceptional. they picked us up from the bus station and the day we were leaving they took us back to the bus station. great communication and answered all my concern and question promptly. highly recommended

Very nice and cosy apartment. 6 minutes walk to the Porta Catania. The flat has everything you need. I recommend this apartment if you want to feel at home.

Great place to stay. Very central. We loved the extra (thoughtful) amenities, ranging from salt/pepper to sweet snacks and coffee pods. Everything was very thoughtful. Thanks for everything!
