The space and hot tub

The oven didn't work so we were unable to cook pizzas on our second/last evening so they went to waste and we had to eat out.

Really beautiful little lodge… the site with lovely. Very quiet and had all we needed to cook. The were only three of us (two adults and one child ) and had plenty of space. The hot tub with amazing, best one I’ve ever been in! I Easily big enough of 4 to 6 people with loads of features! All three of us have very sensitive skin, I’ve had reactions to the chemicals from hot tubes before! This one didn’t stink strongly of chlorine like some do and all there of us were fine despite spending longer in it than we usually would due to the hot weather!

You definitely need to be able to drive… about 30 minutes drive from the centre of York. There isn’t a lot of local restaurants etc around apart from the one on site (which got very busy) and there is a petrol station and places to buy food about 5 -10 minutes drive. We are more than happy to cook and the facilities were great so it didn’t really bother us at all!
