The villa itself was lovely and in a great location. We had two families of four staying in the villa, with young kids, so the space was good for us, though the pool is a bit small for older kids and the central living space wasn't as big as other places we've stayed, which are more geared up for larger groups. Great access to a range of local beaches and walks, and the host was very responsive on WhatsApp before and during the stay.

- The electricity tripped every single day of our stay. The host told us how to solve this by walking a few minutes away to reboot the generator, so it's clearly an issue they're aware of. But some of the tripping was caused within the house itself. Easily put right by flicking the switch on the fuse box, but there's clearly something at fault with the electricity set up for this to happen so frequently (when a hairdryer is used for example). It wasn't nice for the kids or the adults to be plunged into darkness, but thankfully our kids are pretty chilled and it became a bit of a holiday joke. Not great though. - The pool was treated and cleaned one morning. This is reassuring I guess, but we weren't told it was happening and this took the pool out for several hours. This was the day we had planned a lazy morning by the pool, so a bit of a shame. Could have been avoided with better communication. - The parking is a bit of a walk from the villa itself. OK once you're in, but lugging the bags on arrival and departure day won't be possible for some people. - The downstairs room is nice but disconnected completely from the rest of the house. This needs to be made clearer on the description as it might not suit some people.
