Had to take a 10 min trek type walk from mall to the homestay.. It was a bit tiring and sometimes a little exhausting.. Else... The feeling and ambience is wonderful of the place.

The location is perfect for a stunning view of Kangchenjunga when the weather is clear. You can see vast expense of greenery right from your window. The lady of house cooks sumptuous food. I would advise eating in rather than eating out. Home cooked delicious local dishes and home grown veggies at times. Food cannot get better than this. Hosts are very curteous!

You will face issues driving up your car to the property. I would advise you to keep it in the parking and then walk to the place. For motorcycles it is fine though.

Walkable distance to the city center and markets.

The view and the food is fantastic for the price. Also the owners of the place are very sweet and humble. The place is great with reasonable facilities. Would definitely recommend it to someone else.

The road to this place is quite 'adventurous' but the view here is worth coming.

Amazing view of Kanchanjunga from room and balcony . Home stay is very clean and the hospitality of the owner is remarkable. The food they served taste like home made. In a nutshell it was a great experience for me . If you want to stay here you have to contact the owner after booking via booking.com and he will guide you.

It was an absolute treat to wake up to the sight of the majestic mountain in the morning and watch the sun rise over the peaks. The view alone made the walk from the chowrasta corner well worth it. While it’s a slight downhill walk, it’s manageable and adds to the charm of the location, giving you a chance to soak in the surroundings. The homestay truly offers excellent value for money. For the price, you get an incredibly warm and inviting atmosphere, clean and comfortable rooms, and a view that many would envy. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for an affordable yet memorable stay with a friendly host and stunning views!
