St Ives

Nice location. Quite roomy.

Needs more crockery. Bed mattress a bit worn.

The flat was very clean and had all the facilities needed for a long weekend. A good location with the town centre an easy 30 minute walk away. A couple of convenience shops and cafes within 25 yards where very handy. We'll definitely try and book this or one of the other flats when we aim to return to Halifax at the end of March 2026

A freezer or freezer compartment is the only thing that would've come in handy (but not essential).

Facilities great - area excellent and shops convenient - bus service across road into Halifax very good

No plug for sink in top bathroom - bed very low

The accommodation was very clean and well kitted out. Excellent location - only a thirty minute walk into town. Very nice neighbourhood with a shop, cafe and bar on the doorstep.

Beautiful apartment, plenty of space, great facilities. Really would have been more than happy to stay for longer and if we ever return to Halifax we would not hesitate to book St Ives.

The parking isn't ideal, we did get blocked in Sunday morning but fortunately not for long at all.

Modern, well equipped apartment, shops & hotel nearby. Above shops but the only noise was from the regularly passing police & ambulance.

Would not return purely due to two flights of steep steps and very low couches

Great communications from the host. Bed was super comfy, apartment was well stocked and exceptionally clean. Kitchen was well equipped and some essentials left by owner to avoid having to buy oil etc. Apartment is above a shop and has 2 flights of steep steps, so just avoid if mobility is restricted but from memory this is indicated in the details of the property. Parking is in a small alley at back of the shops which can be a little tight, but is fine. Everything was lovely location is quiet but with easy access into town centre by car. There is a cafe on the opposite corner, a butchers, clothes shop, and pizza place across the road. A great find and would absolutely book this property again. Bathroom is lovely, with separate bathroom at top of first steps outside the living and kitchen area.

Parking is a little tight and we did get blocked in but quickly found it was someone at the shop who moved it very quickly. Only because of my old knees and 2 days standing all day, the sofa is quite low, but to be honest not a massive issue as there are bar stools at the breakfast bar that I chose to sit and watch the TV. Could do with a light at the back where the first set of steps are as the one around near the door doesn't quite light up the entrance.
