Lovely property, well equipped, plenty of space. Host had lit fire in lounge so very cosy on arrival. Lovely to sit out with a coffee in the garden admiring the stunning views. Recommended

I loved this place! Great location, lovely and peaceful setting. The cottage was great had everything we needed, I loved the coal fire too. The beds were super comfortable, I would definitely come back to stay in the future.

Stunning kitchen and bedrooms. Very homely. I think they have really tried to stay true to the age of the property. Oh and i absolutely loved the owl that whoo whooed through the night!

The cottage was stunning,well equiped kitchen, lots of character features plus log burner and recliners added bonus. Children loved books and toys.

Low water preassure in the shower.

Overall the cottage was fine as a base for a couple of nights. The bedrooms especially were very nicely decorated and it was a great location for exploring the north western Lakes. The heating and fire were effectively at quickly making it feel cosy.

The outside appearance was a bit neglected, some of the kitchen facilities (eg the small plastic camping cutlery) and the smell of damp in the downstairs.

Great location. Welcoming host, very flexible on our arrival times, and available to answer questions via WhatsApp. Nice watrm cottage with fire on. Nice big kitchen, had everything we needed. Comfortable and cozy sitting room, good bathroom with a decent shower. Lovely sized bedrooms.

Mattress was too soft for my liking.
