The Flamingo Sea View

The location is perfect, super view of the ocean and sun set, loads of nice cafes and good coffee within walking distance. The door opens with QR code so no need to keep track of a key. Well equipped kitchen and good WiFi. Also very close to the City sight seeing bus stop.

They advertised for WASHING MACHINE, that was theONLY reason I booked the place, and we ask where the washing machine was they said use a LAUNDROMAT,. I have a very expensive camping equipement that I need machine washed, LAUNDROMAT ruin the camping equipment. VERY UNSAFE AREA, mostly homeless walking around and chasing you at Night time, they refused to give us a key, and used a QR code, which forced you to have a phone. Sadly I got robbed, and the owner refused to provide a key and insisted that a QR code to be used. SUE claims its a big city, well i dont know here travel experiences however i have been to tokyo osaka and rio and all those cities the population is almost as large as RSA. Her bui.ding shoud have outside security which helps the clients, and using a phone in that DANGEROUS area is not safe at all. Furthermore she told me that booking made the error and now she changes her story about FALSE advertising. ITS VERY DANGEROUS many druggies and homeless people wondering the street at night.

Great cosy place, it's rather small but well designed so that it feels bigger than it actually is. Very modern and clean, has everything one needs. A small balcony with an awesome sea view. No noise from the street at all, only some from the nature (birds:)). Good wifi even for work calls. Unbeatable location in the center if sea point, just a few steps from the sea. Can only recommend.

Loadshedding meant that the lift worked 👍🏽 but the building needs inverter/back up power for the units as well. Bathroom is a little small.

The apartment was dirty - there was hair on the floor, in the shower, in the bedroom. It's very tiny, a lot smaller than it looks like in the photos. There are two huge building renovations going on next door so the noise was very intense. Overall quite an unpleasant stay.

The shower was a bit too small as i am claustrophobia 🥺 but everything was awesome . I would do it again .
