"House was probably what I should have expected. Road in rutted, not paved."

6.0

It was as described, off grid, great star gazing, host was very responsive and likable.

There was continuous noise at night, I think from the battery recharger. Noise from turning on water was loud. The pull out couch was hard and lumpy.

Great spot for stargazing. Nice facilities for glamping. Awesome host, we had an issue with our car and he went above and beyond to help us.

"Very good"

We loved the quiet remote location. We expected an off the grid experience and it delivered. Only 25 minutes from Grand Canyon.

I think we were there during some construction. There were some off the grid issues. The owner/manager did his best to make things right. We enjoy off the grid experiences, so despite some minor issues we enjoyed our stay. If you are still reading this, be sure to take groceries with you. Remember, this is a five star off the grid stay.

"A total city detox"

8.0

It is so remote and quiet. You feel completely alone and at peace. The sunset and sunrise are so beautiful and the stars are so clear.

The composting toilet takes a little getting used to! But it works very well.

"Had a nice time but probably wouldn’t recommend it"

5.0

Nice accommodation for two people and good view of the stars. Nice touch with the guest book messages and Polaroid camera.

Be warned of the roads getting there. SUV is a must. We found ourselves driving through an open field at one point and would have been totally stuck in the mud roads if it had rained. Wish we had a heads up beforehand. The pics look cute but when we showed up it was basically a trailer placed in a construction zone. The shed was torn to pieces in a pile beside the home and there was a huge pit dug right beside it. We were very careful with the door but at times had a dozen moths flying around.
