Casa Balam en Puerto Morelos

Las instalaciones en muy buen estado, la casa muy bonita, su área de esparcimiento es genial y su mayor virtud sin duda es la ubicación, pues queda cerca de todos los sitios de interés.

Casa spaziosa con tre camere e tre bagni. Bella piscina, IN CONDIVISIONE con gli altri ospiti del residence. Residence chiuso con sorveglianza e possibilità di parcheggio davanti all’abitazione.

La casa è un po mal tenuta e la pulizia non era del tutto adeguata. Nonostante le indicazioni fornite dall’host abbiamo avuto qualche problema ad accedere al residence, ma siamo riusciti a risolvere abbastanza in fretta.

La maison par elle même

Les trois salles de bain indiqués sur Booking sont en fait une salle de bain commune pour 2 chambres, une autre salle de bain située dans une chambre et un wC avec un lavabo, en aucun cas il ne s’agit de 3 salle de bain, tout comme la piscine privée qui est une piscine collective. L’emplacement est tout près de la route et donc très bruyant, les chambres ne disposent d’aucun rideau

La amplitud y comodidad

The property is located in a development approx. 5 minutes north of Puerto Morelos, right at the highway 307. Driving to Cancun takes about 20 to 30 minutes. Even though public transport is available, it is best to have a rental for the sake of independence.

The entire house smells bad. There is obviously a lot of mold present. This is the case in every room. There must be a huge problem with moisture. This goes to the extent that even the cutlery in the kitchen drawers, as well as the taps in the bathrooms, were partly corroded. I also did not like the dead insects I found behind furniture and the fridge. When I asked the owner whether a mid-term cleaning and a towel, and a bedding changeover would be done once during our 10-day stay, I was told that this would come at an additional cost. I should mention that the owners live approx. 2,700 km away in Guadalajara.

Wildlife and quiet neighborhood: spider monkeys came over my wall and took bananas to eat, a whole family. Agoati live there, many of them, cute little animals. Mexican racoons roam around too, but none of the animals were pests or at all dangerous. Parrots everywhere and many other beautiful birds. Sleeping was so peaceful even though highway noise was present in the background, it was not like sleeping downtown Cancun. This place is so worth the drive! The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable, but the wildlife right outside in a safe little upper class neighborhood was such a wonderful experience.

Not enough drinking glasses or cooking pans. Showers could be a bit hotter and the water pressure was low. No outside furniture, so I bought a cheap plastic chair and put it on the balcony (I hope it is still there for you!). All of these details are no problem though in comparison to getting a house with all these details and not getting wildlife viewing in a very very safe and quiet neighborhood. I plan to return if possible or maybe buy a house in this community.
