Cosy apartment at the marina

Nicely decorated, comfortable apartment in a good location. Comfortable bed and good shower! Ideal location for local amenities such as shops, restaurants etc

The stairs to the apartment were tricky due to my mobility and some bits in the kitchen missing, but they are the only inconveniences.I have stayed in a few apartments in this area and they were a very poor standard compared to this one. It was very well decorated, homely comfortable with lots of personal touches. The owner has gone above and beyond when thinking of things to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Lots of things I packed were not needed as she had provided them, and the location was fantastic. You can see some of the Marina from the window, you have bars, restaurants, shops,hairdresser all minutes walking distance. Parking space is right outside the building and was always available. I would definitely stay again 🙂

Very enjoyable and comfortable place to stay, in walking distance of multiple shops. Opportunity to get out into some green spaces near the marina, again on foot. The living room is a cosy space to be in at all hours, and the appliances in the kitchen are all very modern and easy to work. Having a private, off-road parking space is a huge plus for any property, knowing that I'd always be able to park my car at the end of the day in a decently secure location where I can see it is always going to be a benefit.

A little bit difficult to find the property upon first arrival, listed address takes you to the other side of the apartment block (Not the owners fault imo), some slightly more specific directions for the final approach might be more helpful. On checkout, working out that the bin store is through a small door across the courtyard when you're needing to get to work on time is a bit stressful, if the instructions were more clear about where to take bin bags it would be helpful. Other than that, a lovely property, I hope to stay again!

This was a most pleasurable stay in a clean, comfortable and well-appointed apartment. The freedom it offered made such a welcome change to hotels rooms and B&Bs. Loved the coffee machine - just like home. The dedicated parking space was much appreciated. The close proximity of the apartment to the dockside and town afforded ample opportunity for shopping and entertainment. The workings of the dock itself proved fascinating. Unfortunately, the apartment provides but a glimpse of the extensive the marina, but you can't have everything. Enjoyed the walk to Portishead Beach and return via the coastal path.

The location worked out really well for us. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The water heater kept going out and we needed to reset it many times during our 3 day stay. The kitchen faucet was very hard to turn off and should be replaced or repaired.
