"Well equipped and a good size."

Well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds. Plenty of room for all.

The person who greeted us was pleasant. But he had a large tear in the seat of his trousers.

"It was a dreadful experience."

The journey home.

A filthy, dilapidated and smelly vacation home that benefits from no less than 13 air fresheners to try and hide the pungent odour. We also didn’t feel safe in the property as an employee of cottage harassed us throughout our 3 day stay, by trying to force his way into the property on our first day and persistently trying to peer through windows multiple times each day whilst we were in the property causing alarm to my wife, dog and 13 old daughter. This intimidating man was also seen in the garden one morning, as he decided to let himself in without reason or warning, which isn’t nice as my daughter and wife were getting changed at the time. The property owners don’t care as nobody else has complained apparently. The agent, Booking dot com has issued a partial refund due to the cleanliness issue encountered and we are now seeking a full refund as our daughter who has autism is so frightened that she will no longer go on a short break holiday again.

"Excellent All Round"

Excellent accommodation & good location for visiting all the attractions in the area, Hadrian's wall is literally next door with all the associated history. Accomodation had all that you could have wished for, fully equipped kitchen, large dinining room, large lounge with comfortable sofa and chairs. Choice of 4 bedrooms with comfortable beds (1 en suite) and a separate large bathroom with freestanding bath and a powerful shower. Small garden with covered patio table and chairs. A superb place to stay and would use again when returning ton the area.

Nothing not to like. Parking a bit tight next to the building but not really a problem.
